Business Relationship Manager Job in Kenya

Position: Business Relationship Manager (Retail) - Medical Sector

The purpose of this job is to:

The position responsible will be for developing, growing and managing customer relationships and for increasing the Banks revenue through marketing of the banks products and services to identified medical sector customer

Develop and maintain positive customer relationships, oversee the marketing of the Bank’s products and services and ensure maximum profitability.

Grow the Bank’s share of the Medical sector business by developing and maintaining relationships with top Medical institutions.

Primary responsibility for the management of own portfolio of customers ensuring that they receive the appropriate level of service and advice to meet their specific needs with guidance from HO Retail banking

Participate in the budget preparation, annual marketing plans and strategies for the business offices to achieve targeted growth objectives with guidance from HO Retail banking

Playing a key role in client acquisition and management of existing Medical sector clients relationships consistent with the Bank’s strategy in –order to achieve desired quality business growth.

Enhance client retention by providing one –stop point of contact for all client’s needs and requirements while providing world class customer service.

Maintain, acquire and reactivate customer relationships to improve deposit liability growth and mix.

Ensure effective relationship management for existing customers and build new relationships.

Maximize account profitability by selling other products and services to the banks customers

Liaise with branches to provide support in the medical sector

Support in pushing the Bank’s existing Medical sector products (fixed deposits, CASA accounts, loans).

Planning and implementing campaigns for sales promotions

Qualifications & Experience:
  • A University Degree in either Marketing of Business Management
  • Proven record in the delivery of business targets
  • Must have worked in the bank or FMCG for at least 2 years with a bias in the Medical Sector
  • A Proven record in the delivery of business targets
Skills and Training:
  • Excellent communication skills both written and speaking
  • Sales and negotiating skills
  • Team building and leadership skills
  • Customer Service skill
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven planning, co-ordination and time management skills
  • Well versed with KYC/AML compliance requirements
