Procurement Coordinator Job in Kenya - Plan Kenya

Plan Kenya is seeking to recruit for the position of Procurement Coordinator for Tharaka Program Unit. This position will facilitate purchase of goods and services required while maximising value for money. The position reports to the Administration Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement of goods and services for the Program Unit
  • Manage suppliers databank
  • Prepare motor vehicle management reports
  • Prepare and maintain up-to date asset register
  • Facilitate acquisition and disposal of assets
  • Facilitate capacity enhancement of CBOs in procurement and supplies management processes
  • Coordinate security issues in the Program Unit
Qualifications, Experience and skills
  • Diploma in procurement and supplies management;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in procurement and supplies preferable in a reputable organisation;
  • Computer literate (Ms-office suite);
  • Experience in staff and community capacity building and training is an added advantage;
  • Good communication skills and negotiation skills
