Our client is looking for IT Sales people. The sales staff will handle sale of computer hardware and software,sales of accounting software, payroll and time and attendance systems.

Roles and responsibilities

Attending initial sales meetings and meeting the client.
determining what their business requirements are, whether the products or services being considered are suitable.
Decide whether the software or hardware needs adapting to meet the client's needs.
answering any technical questions the client might have.
Presenting your findings to a technical team to act on, and then to the client

Skills required

Excellent selling skills
Excellent technical knowledge, and a keen interest in IT issues
Initiative
Presentation skills
The ability to interpret technical language for non-technical people
The ability to write reports and proposals
The capacity to work well on your own or in a team
Negotiating skills
The ability to manage your time and plan your day effectively

Requirements

Qualifications in sales and marketing or a related field an added advantage.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position with proven sales skills.
Sales background where products or services sold have been ‘hard sell’.
Ability to network, communicate comfortably
Ability to work independently, solve problems to achieve desired results.
