Finance Team Leader, East Africa Ref: Ver000301 (Based in Kenya)
Your main purpose in this role is to perform management accounting function for East Africa facility in order to provide management with meaningful, accurate & timeous information to facilitate control and decision making.

Manage the administrative functions as well as the mill services function.


Your Financial responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supporting the East African operations Baby Care, Fem Care & Tissue process streams in any analysis and costing requirements with information that can assist/influence important business decisions;
Support business analysts with any information and or analysis from East African process streams that they require to support their areas of responsibility (product or category);
Provide meaningful, timeous and accurate daily, weekly & monthly reporting, statistical & forecasting information to enable sound decision making;
Attend to and advise Line Managers on finance issues identified, while assisting Line Managers in any financial related requirements;
Provide day-to-day on the job and off the job advice/guidance to employees and line managers on Company financial policies, practices and procedures to support the corporation's program for strong central financial control by reporting whenever corporate policies or instructions are not being followed.

Responsibilities include
controlling raw materials and packaging supplies inventories in order to provide optimum customer service and meet working capital objectives.
Managing day-to-day inventory issues, including communication and issue resolution between the interested parties.
Developing, maintaining and monitoring a control environment that ensure safeguarding of Company assets and ensuring internal control plans/standards adhered to and continued compliance testing and review for inventory processes.

A CPA (K), B.Comm or similar financial qualification, with a minimum of three to five years experience within a manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy and SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
