The Geothermal Development Company (GDC) is a 100% state-owned company with the mandate to fast track development of geothermal resources.
Geothermal energy is an indigenous, abundant, affordable, reliable and environmentally- friendly source of electricity. To achieve its objectives, GDC is seeking to engage highly motivated staff to support the
development of steam equivalent to 5000 MW in the next 20 years.
They will be responsible for undertaking surface exploration and working on drill rigs in volcanic sites including Magadi, Bogoria, Arus, Lake Baringo, Chyulu, Masa Mukye, Homa Hills, Menengai, Barrier, Namarunu, Emuruangogolak, Silali, Korosi, Paka, Badlands, and Chepchuk among others.
The Clinical Officer will be reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer, Staff Welfare services.
Specific duties include; rendering direct patient care; including assessing, diagnosing and prescribing treatment of minor ailments and providing preventive care information within the specialized area of practice. Serves as change agent to improve quality of care within the organisation.
* Must be registered with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board
* 6 years’ experience as a clinical officer in a busy medical setup.
* May be required to be on-call or work nights and weekends.
* Age Below 40 years
* Must be registered with the Nursing Council of Kenya
* At least 4 years of clinical/nursing experience.
* May be required to be on-call or work nights and weekends
* Age 25 – 40 years
