I.T Manager Job Vacancy Kenya.

Thepurpose of the role is to provide leadership and direction in the provision anddelivery of ICT services throughout the organization; to develop the service inalignment with local and international strategies while taking into account ITmarket developments. The job holder is also charged with IT projects deliveryin business expansion.

Responsibilities

*Participate in the development and implementation of an IT plan/strategy forthe establishment with input 
and participation from users.
* Manage resources planning including IT budgets preparation.
* Provide IT infrastructure services including Desktop applications, local and/or wide area networks, IT security and Telecommunication.
* Oversee all IT Projects within the Area and ensure full compliance to globalstandards and overall strategy.

* Responsible for IT Hardware, software and maintenance procurement.
* Work with senior management to propose, agree and deliver IT service todefined Service Level Agreements.
* Ensure appropriate training and development needs are met by working closelywith various business units to ensure that the users have the skills requiredto execute their roles effectively.
* Liaise with system vendors for the development and implementation of newsystems.
* Manage the IT department including performance of staff, disciplinary andcareer development.
* Develop and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
* Perform IT Standards reviews and audits.
* Keep abreast of Industry dynamics in order to ensure that IT equipment andprocesses are in line with industry best practice.
* To manage the relationship with all key stakeholders both internally andexternally and maintain appropriate communications forums with them.

Requirements

*Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Management.
* Experience in ICT Strategy planning and Implementation in an internationalestablishment in the hospitality industry.
* At least 7 years professional experience in ICT including ideally 3 yearssenior management in the hospitality Industry.
* Project management skills including delivery of major projects e.g. settingup business expansion operations.
* Experience in IT System analysis, design, programming, installation andcustomization including integrated Software programmes.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Good corporate profile excellent customer and business development skill.
* Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
